Update: Game PostponedFirst Pitch: 1:10 pm CDTTV: Bally Sports NorthRadio: WCCO 830, Audacy, The Wolf 102. 9 FM, TIBN, twinsbeisbol. comKnow Thine Enemy: Over the MonsterLet get back on track today, folks. Following the first Twins series loss of the year, the Red Sox are rolling into town. The two teams are trending in opposite directions https://www.minnesotagearshop.com/Kenta_Maeda_Pillow_Cover-277, as the Twins lost their last two games (on what some may deem ast inning choke jobs) and the Sox have run off six wins in a row after dropping their first three games https://www.minnesotagearshop.com/Tyler_Duffey_Pet_Jersey-384, riding a hot offense that has scored between six and fourteen runs in each of those wins. The Twins will be giving the ball to J. A. Happ to try and get the team winning again. Happ pitched fairly well in his first start, going 4. 0 innings deep. If youl remember, Happ was late to spring training due to a positive COVID test, so he wasn quite as ramped up as the other starters prior to the season. With that start under his belt, I think we can expect him to be allowed a little bit higher of a pitch count this time out (if all goes well). In the other dugout, Red Sox manager Ron Roenicke will be trotting out old friend Martin Perez, who has been solid since leaving the Twins, but hasn reached the heights that he did early in the 2019 season. Perez gave up 3 earned runs in 5. 0 innings in his first start of this season. The Red Sox also feature Marwin Gonzalez Nick Gordon Flag, but it appears he will be coming off the bench today.
